Description
The flickering neon sign of "The Last Stop Diner" cast a sickly green glow across the rain-slicked asphalt. Inside, the air hung thick with the smell of stale coffee, cheap cigarettes, and regret. You're nursing a lukewarm cup, the condensation clinging to your fingertips like unwelcome memories. Outside, the storm rages, mirroring the tempest brewing inside you.
You don't remember your name. Or where you came from. Or what you did. Just a gnawing feeling of unease, a hollow ache in your chest that whispers of something lost, something terribly important. All you have are the clothes on your back, a worn leather journal filled with cryptic symbols and sketches you don't understand, and the insistent feeling that you're being watched.
The diner is almost empty. A trucker with a face like weathered granite sits hunched over a plate of greasy fries, his gaze fixed on the blurry images flickering on the ancient television mounted in the corner. A woman with eyes that have seen too much wipes down the counter with a weary sigh, the radio humming a mournful tune. And in the shadowed booth in the back, a figure sits shrouded in darkness, a single ember glowing intermittently from a cigarette held between gloved hands.
Suddenly, the power flickers, plunging the diner into momentary darkness. A collective gasp ripples through the room. The trucker curses. The woman sighs louder. The figure in the booth remains motionless. When the lights return, the temperature in the room feels like it's dropped ten degrees. The radio has stopped. The woman looks paler than before. And the figure in the booth...it's gone.
In its place, a single playing card lies on the table: the Queen of Spades, face down. As you reach for it, a voice, raspy and cold as winter wind, whispers in your ear, "Welcome to the game. Your life is the ante."
Your journey begins now. Unravel the mystery of your past, decipher the secrets within the journal, and survive the night. Every choice you make, every person you trust, could lead you closer to the truth… or to a fate worse than oblivion. Prepare yourself. The stakes are higher than you can possibly imagine. And someone, somewhere, is waiting to see how you play.
